By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
VittaLekha is an AI-powered recordkeeping application designed for small business owners and self-employed individuals. The Service allows users to: • Record sales, purchases, and expenses. • Scan and extract data from invoices using AI. • Manage contacts and recurring transactions. • Generate financial reports and exports. • Chat with an AI recordkeeping assistant. The Service is provided as-is and is subject to change without prior notice.
To use VittaLekha, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • All activity that occurs under your account. • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account at support@vittalekha.com. You must not share your account with others or create accounts for third parties without their consent.
You agree to use VittaLekha only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: • Use the Service to record, conceal, or facilitate any fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive financial activity. • Upload or scan documents you do not have the legal right to process. • Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the systems or data of other users. • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the application. • Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law.
VittaLekha is a recordkeeping tool — not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, auditor, or tax professional. • Information generated by the app (reports, summaries, calculations) is for reference purposes only and should not be treated as professional financial or tax advice. • AI-extracted data from invoices may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted information before saving. • You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your financial records and compliance with applicable tax laws. We recommend consulting a qualified accountant or tax advisor for professional financial guidance.
All content, design, logos, code, and features of VittaLekha are the intellectual property of VittaLekha and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all financial data and records you enter into the application. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VittaLekha and its operators shall not be liable for any: • Loss of data, revenue, profit, or business opportunity. • Errors in AI-extracted financial data. • Decisions made based on reports or summaries generated by the app. • Unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to secure your credentials. • Service interruptions or downtime. Our total liability to you in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if: • You violate any provision of these Terms. • We reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or our systems. • You engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@vittalekha.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
